CORN OIL

The percentage of oil a kernel of corn is between 3.1 and 5.7% of the weight of it and 83% of that fat is located in the germ. This is separated from the rest of the grain in the first stage of the wet milling process, thereby obtaining the raw material for oil recovery.

To get the hundred percent its nutritional properties should be an oil obtained by cold pressing the seeds of fresh corn. Refined corn oil is very popular because it has a high resistance to rancidity and enhances the flavor of food.

Its richness in vitamin E (tocopherols) makes for a very steady hand and on the other hand helps make it ideal for preventing circulatory, neurological or vascular diseases and sterility. It contains significant amounts of proteins, carbohydrates and dietary fiber.
